Mellors Care is supporting our client, a successful supported living provider, in their search for a commissioning registered manager for their new service in Wellingborough.
The service comprises 20 self-contained flats, offering independent living for individuals with acquired brain injuries and complex mental health conditions.
The role involves supporting the provider to increase occupancy by working closely with the Local Authority and promoting the service within the community. Responsibilities include:
* Managing a team of support workers and ensuring access to training and development
* Conducting quality and compliance audits
* Working with service users and families to ensure personalized care
* Managing staff rotas to ensure safe staffing levels
* Completing off-site assessments
* Monitoring budgets weekly, monthly, and quarterly
The successful candidate will have managerial experience within health and social care and hold an NVQ Level 5 in HSC leadership and management. Experience working with acquired brain injuries is desirable.
