Salary & Benefits
* £22,388 - £22,743 p/a - Basic salary
* £4,375 p/a - Market force allowance, reviewed annually
* £9,680 - £9,833 p/a - Night and weekend enhancements
* Approximate total starting salary: £36,443 p/a (including allowances)

Kyloe House provides a safe, structured and nurturing environment for young people aged 10-17 who have experienced significant challenges. We work in a trauma‑informed way, recognising each young person's individual needs, strengths and potential.

Role – Night Care Officer
As a Night Care Officer, you will:
* Provide a safe, supportive and calm environment for young people overnight
* Monitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to any incidents or concerns
* Maintain clear and accurate records of observations and events
* Support young people who may be unsettled during the night
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure effective handovers
* Uphold safeguarding standards and follow all relevant policies and procedures

Eligibility Criteria
* A good standard of education
* Willingness to undertake training up to Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* This role does not meet UK Visa Sponsorship criteria
Working Pattern
* Night shift pattern, working 22:30pm - 07:35am, including weekends and bank holidays
Disclosure Requirement
* Enhanced DBS check required
* This role is subject to safer recruitment and safeguarding checks
