Role Summary
The post holder will collaborate with researchers across schools and partner organizations, supporting research activities through data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
Main Duties
* Collect research data using various methods such as experiments and literature reviews.
* Analyze research data as directed.
* Present research outputs at seminars and through publications.
* Develop or adapt research techniques, models, and methods.
* Guide support staff and students assisting with research.
* Address problems affecting research objectives and deadlines.
* Perform administrative tasks related to research delivery.
* Promote equality and foster an inclusive working environment.
Person Specification
* Knowledge and experience in metal manufacturing, especially additive manufacturing.
* Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Practical skills and techniques application experience.
* Effective communication and analytical skills.
* Ability to organize resources successfully.
* Understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and commitment to fair treatment.
