Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned) Clinical Care Provide medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients Respond to emergencies and answer medical questions. Obtain and document appropriate chief complaints, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examination, medications and allergies, assessment, and plan for each patient. Provide medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals. Performs routine medical procedures that may include suturing/laceration repair, splinting, foreign object removal, etc. Provide referrals to medical specialists. Review ancillary test results and coordinate notification to patients. Provide patient education as needed. Maintain availability to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care. Complete appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines. Complete all documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.Manage personal clinical inbox. Attend provider meetings, as requested. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Mentorship & APP Support Serve as a resource and mentor for Advanced Practice Providers, offering clinical guidance, case review, and decision support as needed. Conduct regular check-ins with APPs to review complex cases and promote professional development. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages learning, growth, and shared accountability. Provide constructive feedback and participate in APP evaluations or performance discussions as requested. Assist in developing and updating clinical protocols, training materials, and best practices for the Family Practice team. Requirements: Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
