Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: West London (3 days a week), with travel to various sites as required. Salary: up to £65,000 Benefits We are seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading organisation, playing a pivotal role in the design, maintenance, and enhancement of technical infrastructure and End User Compute (EUC) services. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's IT environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for EUC, infrastructure, and network systems, resolving incidents and implementing changes as required. Conduct Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) assessments, recommending and implementing enhancements to technologies and processes. Lead change control procedures for technology changes, ensuring adherence to best practices and documentation standards. Mentor junior members of the IT team, fostering their professional development and sharing expertise. Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Act as a subject matter expert in key projects and implementations. Technical knowledge and experience with the following will be required to be successful in this role: Windows Server, MS Exchange, MS SQL Admin / SSRS, VMWare vSphere 6.5 (onward), Citrix XenApp, NetScaler, PowerShell AD/Exchange/scripting, Active Directory & Group Policy, Storage technology inc. SAN & NAS, Meraki Firewalls Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in IT support or similar technical roles. Proven experience as a technical lead on infrastructure projects, with comprehensive documentation skills. Familiarity with ITIL Service Delivery principles and practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience working with 3rd party service providers. ITIL v3 or v4 certification. Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) qualification. Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) accreditation. Experience in Financial Services or FCA regulated firms, with knowledge of Data Protection and IT security controls.
