Embark on a rewarding journey with our Level 3 Food Industry Technologist Apprenticeship. This two-year programme offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career in the food and drink industry.
As part of your learning, you'll attend sessions at the University of Nottingham, which may require occasional overnight stays. Flexibility to travel and stay away from home is essential. Upon successful completion, you'll transition into a permanent role as a Compliance Coordinator at Warburtons, marking the start of your professional growth.
The Role: Join us as a Compliance Coordinator Apprentice and support the Compliance Manager in delivering our Unbeatable Quality Strategy. You'll help ensure our bakery and depots meet legal requirements and company standards for food safety, hygiene, and quality.
You will work closely with the Compliance Manager to gather and monitor data supporting our Quality Management System, maintain compliance records, and participate in internal audits. Your role includes supporting food safety and hygiene standards and identifying improvements in our processes. This hands-on role offers opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment where quality is everything.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Genuine interest in food manufacturing and quality compliance
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to various IT systems
* Minimum GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science
* Proactive in following instructions and procedures, especially under supervision
* Clear communication skills, able to write reports and explain standards
* Analytical mindset, able to spot trends and solve problems
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities
* Collaborative and professional, able to build relationships and handle non-compliance tactfully
