Job Opportunity: Clinical Triage Clinician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Nurse or Paramedic to join our dedicated team.
Position Details
1. Hours: 37.5 hours across 7 days a week.
2. Location: Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre.
3. Service: Dudley Clinical Hub (Single Point of Access) providing telephone triage, clinical advice, and signposting.
4. Operational Hours: 8am – 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, with flexible working required.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide phone triage and clinical assessment to support urgent care for patients across the health economy.
* Manage referrals from GPs, ambulance services, community nurses, and other health professionals.
* Visit patients in their homes as needed, supported by senior staff, to maintain clinical skills.
* Collaborate with the Urgent Community Response Team and other services to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.
* Offer clinical support and professional expertise to healthcare professionals.

* Sound clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice.
* Flexible, approachable, and confident in decision-making.
* Excellent communication, customer care, and IT skills.
* Ability to prioritize workload independently and work well within a team.
