Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference to young people with additional needs? We are looking for dedicated SEN Tutors in the Anglesey area to deliver personalised 1:1 support in Maths and English to learners with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Our tutors play a vital role in helping students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), and those working below expected academic levels to bridge learning gaps, build confidence, and achieve their potential. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for tutors and teachers seeking rewarding work that fits around their schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored one‑to‑one Maths and English sessions to SEN learners.
Adapt lesson content, pace, and teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and self-confidence.
Build strong, positive relationships to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents, carers, and professionals.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English.
Experience supporting students with SEN in a 1:1 or small‑group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable Qualifications
PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience supporting learners with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
