We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Educator to join our ENT team on a 12 month secondment opportunity.
This post offers a fantastic chance to contribute to the development of staff across both the ENT inpatient ward and outpatient services, while working collaboratively with colleagues in the wider Head and Neck clinical education team.
This secondment is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to broaden their experience in clinical education while maintaining close links to specialist clinical practice.
Main duties of the job
1. Support the education, training and professional development of staff working in ENT.
2. Deliver teaching, training and competency-based assessments in both ward and outpatient settings
3. Work alongside other Clinical Educators within Head and Neck to ensure consistent, high-quality education provision.
4. Act as a role model, providing guidance and support to learners at all stages.
5. Contribute to service improvement and the promotion of evidence-based practice.

6. Registered Nurse
7. To have completed the national PEAP programme for practice supervisors or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification for those with ENB998.
8. Recognised mentorship training
Desirable criteria
9. Working towards a Degree in education.
10. Experience of the management of complex Head and Neck patients
11. Experience of dealing with emergency Head and Neck admissions

12. Current or recent Head and Neck clinical practice
13. Evidence of post registration experience relevant to the role.
14. Evidence of post registration education relevant to the role.
15. Evidence of experience in research/audit
16. Evidence of experience in teaching and assessing

Further Training

21. Specialist Head and Neck experience such as : ENT, MaxFax, Ophthalmic patients Knowledge of clinical governance
