Our dedicated team, comprised of skilled professionals, plays a crucial role in delivering key services. We take pride in collecting and treating water, ensuring its return to the environment through rivers and coastal outlets. With over 7,000 pumping stations and a network of 76,000 kilometres of sewers directing to more than 1,000 water recycling centres, our team is at the heart of a vital and impactful operation.
Join us as a Recycling Operator, responsible for emptying, maintaining and cleaning and repairing AW Water & wastewater Lagoon, setting up contingency Biosolids cake bay and sites. Close liaison with the central WROL Controlling Team, WROL Operations Managers and Support Managers and C&E Sales and Compliance teams
Responsibilities Include:
Complete Daily machine/vehicle checks/tasks in line with daily servicing schedule
Operation of machinery/plant/vehicles in accordance with Daily Work Schedule
Close liaison with the WROL Controlling team regarding operational issues i.e. changes to work instructions, Health & Safety issues, Machine defects etc
Compliance with all relevant legislation
Full and accurate completion of all internal paperwork/documentation
Weekly return of completed paper work, including Driver weekly machine/vehicle check sheets
The Ideal Candidate will have:
B&E Licence preferred
Excavator/ Telehandler and Loader experience required (NPORS is desirable)
Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is essential
IOSH qualification is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of Water Recycling/Environmental protection is desirable
