Plymouth, UK. Full-time (4.5 day week)

Join one of the UK’s most iconic luxury yacht manufacturers and play a vital role in keeping our facilities running smoothly. At Princess Yachts, we're looking for a proactive and experienced Site Facilities Manager to help drive excellence in maintenance, safety, and operations across our site.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Site Facilities Manager, you’ll take ownership of facilities and equipment maintenance, ensuring our site remains efficient, compliant, and safe. You’ll be working closely with internal teams and external contractors, playing a key role in day-to-day operations and long-term improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Leading building and facilities maintenance, ensuring timely completion of both planned and reactive work.
* Managing equipment maintenance and coordinating external contractors.
* Overseeing contractor compliance, promoting safe working practices.
* Monitoring equipment performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
* Liaising with Operations to resolve equipment issues and plan maintenance shutdowns.
* Developing and implementing preventive maintenance routines.
* Supporting Engineering teams with new equipment installations.
* Managing waste processes and ensuring compliance with company standards.
* Responding to site emergencies as part of the on-call rota.
* Assisting with budget planning and obtaining subcontractor quotes.
* Acting as deputy for the Facilities Manager when required.
* Taking ownership of specific workstreams, applying your expertise to drive improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a hands-on leader with a strong track record in facilities or maintenance management—ideally from a fast-paced industrial, logistics, production, or manufacturing background.

You’ll need to bring:

* Demonstrated experience supervising contractors and third-party service providers.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CAFM systems.
* Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
* Organisational agility and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
