We are working with a respected and well-established residential developer who is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their Midlands team, based on a housing development in Warwickshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager who takes pride in delivering high-quality homes and is passionate about contributing to well-designed communities. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in driving build quality, maintaining site standards, and supporting the successful delivery of the development programme. The role offers genuine opportunities for progression, supported by a strong culture of training and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager in supervising all direct employees and subcontractors on site.
* Coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries to ensure an efficient build programme and high-quality output.
* Assist in scheduling works to meet production targets and maintain consistent build quality.
* Ensure safe and compliant working methods are adhered to at all times.
* Support with pre-completion inspections and customer home demonstrations.
* Work collaboratively with Sales to support the presentation and maintenance of show homes.
* Liaise with the Customer Care team to ensure any remedial works are completed professionally and promptly.
* Attend site meetings as required and maintain accurate site records.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and Health & Safety standards.
* Undertake additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the site.
About You
* Previous experience working on a new-build residential development.
* SMSTS and First Aid qualifications (or working towards).
* Strong knowledge of site Health & Safety.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Excellent attention to detail, with strong communication and leadership skills.
* A positive attitude, pride in workmanship, and a desire to progress.
