Holmer Green First School and Pre-School is situated on Watchet Lane, in Holmer Green village, nestled on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. One of three state schools in the village, the school serves the local community and has a great community feel.
About the role
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for Early Years to teach in our wonderful school. Could this be you?
This part time role will be for 2 days a week. The role will entail planning and teaching high quality lessons and carrying out assessments which are in line with the approach embodied in the Early Years Foundation Framework. A knowledge of Tapestry would be beneficial, although training will be provided. You will need to be skilled at planning and setting up open ended continuous provision activities as well as creating an inspiring learning environment for the children. You must be passionate about the Early Years and truly believe that children can learn through playful opportunities.
This role is fixed term until the end of the summer term 2026, although it could be extended for the right candidate.
