Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for candidates who have experience working within a complex needs service.
It would be advantageous if you are a driver with a full UK manual driving licence.
This is a 2:1 Support service, and we currently have 2 x part-time posts for 18hrs and 24 hrs.
About the Role:
Your responsibilities will depend on the needs of the individuals that you support and can include:
1. Social Support- Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various clubs and leisure activities such as day centres, bowling, cinema, swimming etc.
2. Medical Support- Administering and monitoring medication.
3. Personal Care- Assist people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care which would include assistance with showering/bathing, dressing, arranging visits with professionals such as dentists, doctors or opticians, assisting with incontinence care...
