They are based in the City of London, working in the Office 2 days per week. With nearly 3,000 members from a wide range of disciplines, this organisation plays a pivotal role in education, research, and professional development through events, guidelines, grants, and advocacy. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to support the administration of grants and committees within a busy team. You'll be the key point of contact for grant applicants, help coordinate special interest groups, and contribute to the smooth running of events and governance activities. Key Responsibilities Grants Administration * Respond to grant-related queries and serve as the primary contact for applicants * Administer and process grant applications in line with agreed timelines * Maintain records of current and past grant holders * Update web pages and promotional materials related to grants * Review and improve grant administration procedures for clarity and consistency * Prepare reports on grant-making activities * Compile and distribute a regular grants e-bulletin * Monitor and track the grants budget Committee Support * Attend committee meetings and away days, taking notes as required * Coordinate activities of allocated special interest groups * Arrange travel and accommodation for committee members General Administration * Support ad hoc projects as needed * Maintain efficient record-keeping systems in line with data protection regulations * Participate in the organisation's flagship Annual Scientific Meeting
