We are recruiting System / Principal Engineers and Technical Directors for a growing Engineering Safety Consultancy with expertise in Maritime, Naval, Nuclear, and Submarine sectors.
System Engineers – Mid-Level to Senior
These engineers will work as part of a talented team on complex, hazardous projects in highly regulated fields such as nuclear, maritime, aviation, or ordnance. They should be capable of working independently and leading small teams, with the ability to think strategically and maintain quality standards.
Job Duties:
* Lead and empower engineering teams to deliver technical project aspects
* Work collaboratively with minimal supervision
* Support activities directed by Technical Directors and Principal Engineers
* Conduct complex technical investigations
* Communicate project outcomes to stakeholders
* Provide technical guidance to peers
* Maintain excellent customer relations and quality assurance
Principal Engineer
Responsible for leadership and delivery in complex, hazardous projects, managing talented teams and providing strategic insights. Requires a proven track record and the ability to transfer skills to new technologies.
Job Duties:
* Supervise and motivate staff
* Manage complex technical projects
* Guide engineers and support their development
* Use evidence to inform and innovate projects
* Communicate proposals and outcomes to stakeholders
* Identify market opportunities and mitigate risks
Qualifications include a BEng degree with postgraduate knowledge, recognized as a Technical Expert, Chartered Engineer status, and membership in a UK Professional Engineering Institution.
Technical Director – Nuclear/Maritime/Aviation
Leads talented teams, with experience in senior management and strategic planning. Demonstrates strategic thinking, effective communication, and leadership skills. Responsible for defining and delivering strategic initiatives during a period of growth.
Job Duties:
* Plan and organize staff activities and resources
* Provide leadership for business continuity
* Manage and develop staff
* Influence strategic policies
* Coordinate with the Board of Directors
Qualifications include a BEng degree with postgraduate knowledge, recognized as a Technical Expert, Chartered Engineer, and membership (or fellowship) of a UK Professional Engineering Institution, with over 15 years of experience in a regulated engineering discipline.
