Job Description
* Assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review.
* Produce work for the Manager and/or Partner review clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified.
* Identify and understand client needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters and communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with managers.
* Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business.
* Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
* Identify and communicate opportunities to sell "add on" services to client management.
* Build strong relationships with new and established clients.
* Carry out ad hoc assignments as may be reasonably required by your group.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Audit Semi Senior' should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* Working towards ACCA/ACA
* Minimum of 2 years experience within a UK practice
* Experience in auditing and financial reporting.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Good project management skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
