Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, strong fault finding skills and have a keen eye for detail. This role involves working on site installing, repairing and servicing refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to the highest standard and delivering exceptional client service.
Job Type: Full time / Permanent
Duties
* Installation of commercial and residential air conditioning systems
* Installation of commercial refrigeration systems
* Diagnosing and repairing faults in a range of systems and equipment including parts such as compressors and fan motors etc
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
* Autonomy with company van and apprentice, working mainly within East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire
* Completing detailed job reports
* Clear communication with customers and the office team
* Ability to work on equipment other than refrigeration is preferable but not essential (training can be provided)
Requirements:
* F-Gas Certification
* Full UK drivers license
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent)
* Hydrocarbons Qualification - desirable or training provided
* Electrical experience
* Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Experience installing/ repairing AC and refrigeration systems.
* An eye for detail and a sense of pride in one's work.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Schedule:
* Mon - Fri (8am - 5.30pm)
* Overtime opportunities available
* Occasional weekend availability
