Description
Maintain and update accurate financial records and ledgers.
Reconcile accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Support audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
Provide assistance to the finance team as required in the insurance sector.
Profile
A Successful Bookkeeper Must Have
Proven bookkeeping experience
Strong accounting principles knowledge
Proficient in financial systems; Sage Line 50 and Xero
Able to support system changes and upgrades
VAT returns
Payroll for c.100 employees (incl. P11Ds)
Maintain purchase and sales ledgers
Strong double‑entry bookkeeping skills
Excellent communication skills
Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £60,000 per annum.
