Maintenance Administrator

£13.31 per hour
7:30-16:30 (12:30 finish Friday)
Our world-leading automotive client is looking for an administrator to join their maintenance team. We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual to support with their Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
CMMS Administration:
* Maintain and update the CMMS (e.g., asset records, maintenance schedules, work orders, failure codes and job history).
* Ensure preventative maintenance (PPM) plans are accurate, up to date, and optimised for equipment reliability.
* Generate reports and KPIs from the CMMS to support performance analysis and continuous improvement.
* Train users on CMMS functionality and provide day-to-day system support for the maintenance team.
* Audit CMMS data regularly to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Spares and Inventory Control:
* Maintain stock levels of critical spare parts, consumables, and tools in line with operational requirements.
* Monitor usage trends and set appropriate minimum/maximum stock levels using SOS Software.
* Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, including issuing parts to Technicians and booking stock movements in the system.
* Perform regular stock checks.
* Identify obsolete or surplus stock and coordinate disposals or reallocation.
Purchasing and Supplier Coordination:
* Raise purchase requisitions and orders for spare parts, materials, and contracted services as required.
* Liaise with suppliers and the Maintenance Team to obtain quotations, lead times, and technical information.
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery of critical spares and services.
* Work with finance and procurement teams to resolve invoice queries and maintain up-to-date supplier records.
* Build and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to support operational efficiency and cost control.
