Demand Planner đź’Ľ Full time, hybrid đź“ŤLondon
Inzaro Group are partnered with a leading food and beverage manufacturing company to recruit a Demand Planner to lead forecasting and demand planning activities across a dynamic, fast-paced supply chain environment. This role is critical in driving forecast accuracy, supporting S&OP processes, and ensuring optimal product availability while minimising waste and excess inventory.
The successful candidate will work closely with commercial, supply chain, production, finance, and logistics teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and support data-driven decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain statistical and commercial demand forecasts across multiple product categories
* Analyse historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and promotional activity to improve forecast accuracy
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to capture insights on promotions, new product launches, and customer activity
* Lead the demand review process as part of the S&OP / IBP cycle
* Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions where required
* Identify risks and opportunities within the demand plan and provide scenario analysis to support decision‑making
* Work closely with supply and production planning teams to ensure alignment between demand and operational capacity
* Drive continuous improvement across forecasting processes, tools, and data integrity
Qualifications
* Experience in a demand planning role within food & beverage, FMCG, or another fast-moving consumer goods environment
* Strong understanding of statistical forecasting, promotional planning, and seasonality impacts
* Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse large and complex data sets
* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and demand planning / forecasting tools
* Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills
* High attention to detail with a proactive, analytical, and commercially aware mindset
