Location and Working Conditions
This role is based in Exeter, Ipswich, Salford, Speke, or Wymondham, with the flexibility of remote working and occasional travel to the office. We offer a standard workweek of 37.5 hours, with some flexibility available to suit your needs.

Your Responsibilities
As our Drainage and Water Design Manager, you will:
* Lead and nurture multiple design teams across various locations, fostering collaboration and mentorship
* Manage programmes, budgets, and risks across a complex portfolio of projects
* Build and maintain strategic client relationships to support growth and service development
* Ensure design outputs meet quality standards, regulations, and client expectations
* Drive innovation and improvement initiatives to enhance our capabilities and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have experience leading and developing design teams with a caring and supportive leadership style
* Are skilled in managing programmes, budgets, and risks across complex engineering projects
* Possess excellent relationship-building abilities and communication skills
* Have a track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions in the Building & Development, Transportation, or Water sectors
* Hold a full UK driving licence and are willing to travel to various team locations as needed
