1:1 Teaching Assistant - Stone - Start Date: As soon as possible.
We are seeking a committed and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is prepared to get stuck into a school environment supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis within a lively classroom environment. You will be required to have Monday-Friday availability and able to commute to areas such as Stone and Stafford on a daily basis. You will be required to start immediately and will be working on a temporary basis for a reputable supply agency.
This opportunity is the perfect fit for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is seeking a rewarding role within the education sector supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis. Working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the daily support given to a child to ensure that they are pushed to reach their full potential. You will be working alongside pupils within the primary age range varying from EYFS through to Key Stage 2.
The role includes:
* Providing 1:1 Teaching Assistant support to an individual pupil who may need additional help with their learning, behaviour or emotional needs.
* Working alongside the class teacher to help the pupil access the curriculum, stay focussed during lessons and develop social and communication skills.
* The ability to create and maintain an inclusive, safe and warm learning environment for the pupil.
* Work alongside teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.
* Support the pupil to participate in all aspects of school life while promoting their confidence, progress and wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working in a primary school environment supporting pupils.
* Is a reliable, caring and patient individual who has a genuine passion for supporting pupils within the classroom.
* Must obtain an Enhanced DBS.
* Available to start ASAP.
* Able to commute to Stone, Stafford and Stoke.
* Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to individual needs
* Fully registered to work for Academics
Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate. xsngvjr
