We are looking for a dedicated Pool Manager & Swimming Teacher to lead the safe and effective operation of our hydrotherapy pool and deliver inclusive, high-quality swimming sessions for pupils with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
This is a unique opportunity to combine pool management expertise with adaptive teaching skills, supporting pupils’ physical development, confidence, and wellbeing in the water.

About the Role
8. Plan and deliver engaging swimming and hydrotherapy lessons tailored to pupils with complex needs.
9. Promote water confidence, safety, and therapeutic benefits in collaboration with teachers and therapists.
10. Oversee pool safety and compliance, including water testing, plant room checks, and risk assessments.
11. Manage pool timetables, staff rotas, and training for lifeguards and assistants.
12. Maintain accurate records for water quality, pupil progress, and operational procedures.
13. Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are met at all times.
About you
14. STA Level 2 Award/Certificate or Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification.
15. National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
16. Pool Plant Operator Certificate (or willingness to train).
17. Experience delivering inclusive or adaptive swimming lessons.
18. Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
19. Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.
