My client is a Financial Advisory firm, providing sound Financial Advice to both individuals and corporate / businesses, surrounding Investments, Pensions and Retirement Advice.
We are urgently seeking a highly motivated, independent thinker who wants to take on a new position in a fast paced, highly rewarding environment. The successful candidate must have an exceptional attention to detail and be able to work at speed without their standards dropping. They must have a great energy and a willingness to learn.
Specifically you’ll be responsible for the following areas:
Management Responsibilities
Managing the office in absence of Practice Manager
Supervising Administrators in daily tasks and workload management
Assistance with induction, training, and development of new and existing employees
Ensuring the advisors diaries run smoothly and are always correct
Performance management
Implementing processes and procedures
General Administration
Ensuring all logs are kept up to date by the administrators
Ensuring regulatory deadlines are adhered to and letting the Practice Manager know when there is a bottle neck of work.
Answering the phone and dealing with queries from clients and being the first escalation point for staff before it needs to go to the Practice Manager
Overseeing the running of the office – Stationery is ordered in time, IT issues are fixed, new starters have a new starter pack
Help the Practice Manager to maintain the CRM data base with clean data
Help the Practice Manager complete various Practice Projects
Advice Process and Client Administration
Be able to drop into a full administrative role when it is required. This is for both business submission and prepping for client meetings.
Monitor communication with external paraplanners to ensure they are made aware of our standards for the reports they write.
We are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator for this position, someone who has been working within IFA Administration for the last 5 years or so ideally within a Financial Advisory firm, who feels that they are ready to take on further responsibilities within their role. Ideally you will have had experience in mentoring other team members, but don’t necessarily need to currently be a Team Leader, but with a desire to progress from their current role. It would be to your advantage if you have any further qualifications relating to Financial Planning and Financial Advice.
