Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer Department: Technical Services Location: Surrey Reporting To: Supplier Quality & Development Senior Manager About the Role G&P is seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to support a leading UK automotive OEM at their Surrey manufacturing site. This contract position plays a critical role in managing supplier quality performance, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement within a high-performance supply chain. Key Responsibilities * Manage supplier quality concerns to maintain production flow * Monitor supplier performance (PPM, NCRs) and implement CSL1/CSL2 controls * Develop and implement containment and inspection plans * Lead structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) * Conduct root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are effective * Oversee third-party inspections, sorting, and manage supplier chargebacks * Escalate supplier risks and support mitigation plans * Produce regular reports on quality trends, inspection outcomes, and CSL status
