Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £45,370 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with the potential to earn up to £57,000 through on-target earnings.
Flexible Working Hours: Enjoy a 40-hour work week with core hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays.
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—whether they’re at home or at work. Forget the constraints of a traditional garage; you’ll deliver first-class service right where it’s needed. We’ll set you up for success from day one with:

What We’re Looking For:
You’re someone who gets people. This isn’t just about spanners and engines—our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. You’re not just in the RAC—you are the RAC. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit shows what we’re all about.
You like mixing things up. Every day is a little different—servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. You’ll manage your stock, do your reporting, and keep those customer conversations flowing.
You think on your feet. You’ll be trusted to make the right call for each customer, facing new challenges every day.
What You’ll Need:
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
