Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie, based in the City of Bristol. As a Chef De Partie, you will oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes within your assigned section to uphold high culinary standards. Daily responsibilities include organizing ingredients, ensuring proper portioning, assembling menu dishes, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and assisting in the development of new recipes. You will also support training and mentoring junior kitchen staff while collaborating with the culinary team to maintain workflow and service excellence.
Qualifications
* Strong culinary skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Proficient in menu planning, recipe creation, and portion control
* Prior experience in adhering to food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
* Effective team collaboration and leadership skills to mentor junior staff
* Time management skills to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Adaptability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
* A relevant culinary certification or equivalent professional kitchen experience
* Knowledge of modern culinary trends and techniques is a plus
