We currently have the following opportunity: Quality Improvement Manager (2 posts) £85,104 2 High Street, Perth An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead on Quality Improvement 2-18 across Perth and Kinross as a key member of the Education and Learning Senior Leadership Team. Working directly for the Strategic Lead (Education and Learning), you will provide strategic senior leadership, vision, professional advice and effective management for all aspects of education. You will lead the Education Agenda in Perth and Kinross by working closely with the other Service Managers within Education and Learning, and in collaboration with other stakeholders from across the private, public and third sectors. You will lead, with sound governance, all strategic, operational and employment matters relating to management, improvement and innovation across your remit to ensure improved outcomes for children and young people. You will seek to establish and champion system change which successfully impacts on key educational outcomes. You will lead a Quality Improvement Team of QIOs and other officers to achieve best outcomes in collaboration with school based leaders. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will collaborate across all aspects of the strategic areas below within Education and Learning: - Leadership and Career Long Professional Learning (CLPL) - Performance Management - Improvement - Planning and Policy. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, in an education discipline and be eligible for full GTCS registration in either the Primary or Secondary sector. You will have senior leadership and management experience which has had a positive outcome for children and young people. A sound knowledge of legislation and statutory duties in relation to educational developments, Scottish Government policy and the national agenda is essential, as is the ability to translate strategic objectives into implementation and the delivery of education services.
