3. Oversee and manage all direct tax compliance obligations for the organisation.
4. Oversee Transfer Pricing and Pillar 2 issues
5. Provide expert tax advisory support to internal stakeholders across various departments.
6. Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments.
7. Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.
8. Support the preparation and review of tax disclosures for financial reporting purposes.
9. Identify and implement opportunities for tax efficiency and optimisation.
10. Develop and maintain robust internal processes to mitigate tax risks.
11. Provide leadership and guidance to junior tax team members.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Tax Manager - Direct Tax should have:
12. A professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
13. Strong technical knowledge of direct tax regulations and compliance requirements.
14. Experience working within the insurance industry or a similar financial services sector.
15. Proven ability to manage complex tax projects and deliver results.
16. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
17. Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
