As a Store Manager at Booker, you’ll be free to use your skills to help our business grow. Booker operates as the UK\'s leading food and drink wholesaler across 190+ cash and carry branches, eight distribution centres, five Best Food Logistics sites and six support centres, serving independent retailers, caterers and small businesses nationwide.
Responsibilities
* Inspire and lead your team to perform at their best, supporting managers and driving sales while taking responsibility for outcomes.
* Build rapport with local business owners, identify their needs, and listen to feedback to improve the customer experience.
* Ensure the store operates healthily, legally, and safely, with a focus on customer satisfaction and compliant operations.
* Take a proactive, commercially-minded approach to offering the best choice, price, and service.
* Oversee store performance on the shop floor and in a broader fast-paced environment that includes online and delivery services.
Qualifications
* Experience in the food sector and the ability to build rapport with customers.
* Strong management and team development capabilities.
* Discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for the store and responsibility for its success.
