We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable SEN Tutor to support children and young people in Morpeth. This role involves working 1:1 and in small groups, delivering tailored lessons at pupils’ homes and within the community. You will play a key role in building trust with learners and families, supporting both academic progress and personal development. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Maths, and core skills. Adapt teaching for pupils with SEN, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and additional needs. Work with learners in community and home settings, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Track and report on pupil progress. Promote engagement, resilience, and wellbeing.Requirements QTS, PGCE, or relevant tutoring/teaching experience. Experience supporting children and young people with SEN/SEMH. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently. Own transport desirable. What We Offer Pay rate varies depending on experience.
