Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant - Bebington Primary School Location: Bebington Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary - Full Time Pay: £109.85 per day Spencer Clarke Group are working with a supportive primary school in Bebington who are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their specialist SEND Base on a full-time basis. This role involves supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs and other complex learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes in a structured and nurturing environment. The school are looking for a reliable and committed individual who can provide consistency and build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families. The Role: Support pupils within a specialist SEND Base. Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs. Assist pupils with Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and additional learning needs. Support behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver adapted learning activities. Encourage pupil independence, confidence and engagement. Help maintain a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment. Liaise effectively with teachers, support staff and external professionals where required. Essential Experience & Qualifications: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable. Experience supporting children with SEND within an educational, care or support setting. Knowledge of Autism, ADHD and communication needs. Understanding of behaviour management and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
