Job Overview
HVAC Engineer required in Essex for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment. They have long‑standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.
Salary & Benefits
* Basic Salary £40,000 - £43,000 DOE
* Company Van – optional personal use of the vehicle
* Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service – up to £3,600 tax free
* Overtime paid at 1.5x
* 40‑hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
* On‑call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – if called out, travel paid door to door)

* 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays (increases to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years)

Job Requirements
* Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (not essential)
* Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
* 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F‑Gas)
* Full driving licence
* Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
* Live in the Essex area
