Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with customs duty compliance and processes
* Support quarterly and annual statutory and regulatory reporting
* Contribute to internal controls and the year-end audit process
* Collaborate across functions and liaise with internal stakeholders
* Produce daily reports for submission
* Support data gathering and analysis for the finance team
* Assist wider finance team as needed
* Handle ad hoc requests
Who you'll be working with:
Within the Finance team and across internal stakeholders in the business.
Skills/Experience:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or AAT qualified
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with a desire to understand the 'why' behind the numbers
* Excellent communication skills for stakeholder relationship building
* Proactive, organized, and IT proficient with strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
