Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong Power BI experience. We require experience in building, maintaining, and optimising data pipelines. We require experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse and/or Databricks. We require proficiency in data modelling for reporting and insight generation. We require a strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and best practices. We require experience in data warehousing, including design, implementation, and maintenance of centralised data repositories. We require familiarity with data analytics frameworks and tools such as Power BI. We require knowledge of database management systems such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL in cloud and on-premise environments. We require the ability to architect cloud-based solutions using Azure or AWS. We require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. We require strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical strategies. Experience with Azure Data Factory is desirable. Knowledge of PySpark, Python, or Spark is desirable. Exposure to Power BI and downstream reporting solutions is desirable. Understanding of medallion architecture and lakehouse concepts is desirable.
