Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to the overall guest experience.
Duties
* Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
* Ensure all public areas and corridors are tidy and well-maintained
* Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
* Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
* Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linen as required
* Adhere to organisational standards for cleanliness and presentation
* Assist with laundry duties when necessary
* Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
Skills
* Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
* Knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning products
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
