OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a leading player in the creative industry, known for their commitment to excellence within creativity and design. Based just on the outskirts of the city centre, they foster an environment which encourages excellence because they KNOW no-one does it quite like them. With a focus on delivering outstanding projects, they are now looking for a dynamic Purchasing Assistant to join their team and contribute to their success!


THE JOB:
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement process and ensuring seamless operations. Your key responsibilities will include:



* Assisting in the purchasing of materials and supplies to meet project demands.

* Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all purchases.

* Liaising effectively with clients and suppliers.

* Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing (where necessary) and delivery schedules.

* Supporting account management by tracking inventory levels and forecasting needs.

* Providing outstanding administrative assistance to the Purchasing Manager, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

* Working Mon-Fri 8.30-5.00 (40 hour week) based in the office (you won't miss WFH in THIS office!)

* We are considering candidates who can work between 32- 40 hours, salary will be on a pro rota basis.



ALL ABOUT YOU:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills:



* A background in Buying, Purchasing or Procurement

* Excellent Administrative skills with attention to detail

* Experience in Account Management is a plus!

* A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment as well as solo

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal ️

* An interest in the creative sector would be a benefit but not essential ️
