Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and Young Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a strong understanding of food production and preparation. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for creating a variety of savoury goods (quiches, sandwiches) and assist with patisserie (tarts, eclairs) section, ensuring high standards of quality and food safety are maintained throughout the process. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in an international, artisan style kitchen environment.
Baker Qualifications/Skills:
* Demonstrated knowledge of and skills working in the kitchen.
* Passion and dedication to the pastry/ chef profession.
* Adaptability to working in international team.
* Decision-making and being able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Oral communication in English.
* Self-motivated and seeking self-improvement.
* High energy level and ability to work early hours pattern.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
* Diploma or degree in bakery/kitchen related, preferable.
* Some experience working as a kitchen assistant/chef, highly preferable but training will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
