Key Responsibilities
As part of a team you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure and deployment pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.
Infrastructure & Platform Management
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
* Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
* Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of production systems
* Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies
CI/CD & Automation
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
* Automate deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments
* Implement automated testing and quality gates within deployment pipelines
* Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive operational tasks
* Work closely with development teams to improve deployment processes and reduce friction
* Provide support for production incidents and participate in on-call rotation
* Document processes, runbooks, and architectural decisions
* Mentor team members on DevOps best practices
Security & Compliance
* Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes
* Manage secrets, credentials, and access control systems
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
* Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Technical Skills
* 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar role
* Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
* Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
* Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows
* Understanding of networking, security, and system administration
* Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog)
* Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
* Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
* Experience with database administration and optimization
