Blossom Children Home is a new setting based in Torquay, currently supporting 3 children.
Shifts:
This is a full time position only.
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
On call duties during the weekend
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the welfare and development of the children in our care.
* Managing and mentoring a team of residential support workers.
* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation.
* Developing and implementing care plans.
* Managing budgets and resources effectively.
Requirements:
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
* Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a children’s residential setting.
* A comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children.
* Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
