A well-established engineering business in Bournemouth is looking to bring in a skilled CNC Machinist to support a busy and well-organised shop floor. This is a hands-on CNC Machinist role where you’ll be involved in setting, operating, and supporting production, with a strong focus on quality and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare tooling and work holding using engineering drawings and job sheets
Set and operate CNC machines, adjusting offsets and changing inserts as required
Carry out accurate measurements and first-off checks using inspection tools
Keep tooling organised, clean, and properly maintained
Work closely with setters and other machinists to maintain efficient workflow
Complete documentation clearly and follow all quality and safety proceduresEssential Skills & Experience
Previous experience working as a CNC Machinist
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Confident setting and operating CNC machinery
Experience using inspection equipment for accurate measurement
Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityDesirable Experience
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
