Competitive Salary | Continued Professional Development | Joining Bonus
Your new role with this council will offer a range of benefits, one of which is a very generous annual leave allowance, giving you the chance to take those well deserved breaks that we all need from time to time. This time could also be used for your Children's summer holidays or even getaways for yourself!
You’ll be offered a competitive salary of between £28,500 - £ 38,500, and the council will also pay an extra £3000 market supplement, to ensure you are properly remunerated and left feeling appreciated for the work you do.
You will also have plenty of support within the team as management really care about the health and wellbeing of their staff. In addition to this, they also offer plenty of opportunities for training and development, meaning you will always be progressing in your career.
Flexible working is also a plus, and the managers welcome discussions around this to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance, but also so that you have enough time for any personal/childcare commitments you may have.
A sound understanding of legislation and procedures regarding Adult Care is a requirement for this position. Prospective candidates should have prior experience with CHC DSTs, mental capacity assessments, DoLs, and best interest decision making. The council assures manageable caseloads, reflective peer practice, CPD sessions, and regular one-on-one supervision to its employees.
