Position Overview: Survivor Advocates play a key role in delivering individualized case management and direct support to clients at Bob’s House of Hope. This position involves helping survivors navigate resources, set personal goals, and build stability as they heal and move forward. Advocates provide trauma-informed care with compassion, empathy, and professionalism—supporting clients through a lens of safety, empowerment, and long term success.
Organization Overview: Bob’s House of Hope is a safe haven dedicated to supporting male survivors of sex trafficking. We provide trauma informed care in a supportive residential environment, empowering clients to rebuild their lives and move toward healing and independence. In addition to our on-site services, we also support survivors remotely across the United States, extending our reach to those who may not have access to local resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide case management for survivors served by RHR and BHOH
* Advocate for clients with agencies and partners nationwide
* Connect clients to local resources aligned with their goals
* Maintain accurate records and track service data
* Compile data for reporting and program evaluation
* Collaborate with NGOs, law enforcement, and governing bodies
* Uphold BHOH and Survivor Advocacy Program policies
* Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
* Experience in trauma-informed case management, residential care, or working with survivors of human trafficking or abuse (preferred)
* Bachelors or some college (preferred)
* Strong organizational, communication, and crisis management skills.
* Empathy and professionalism when working with vulnerable populations.
