This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Venues market.
About The Role:
Shift Pattern: Variable shift pattern Monday - Sunday and including some nights.
The Traffic Supervisor will implement traffic procedures and access control in accordance with operational instructions, to ensure a safe and secure site, develop, maintain and deliver traffic procedures in accordance with operational instructions as defined by the venue but in a manner that is customer focused.
You will be expected to:
* Carry out tasks and functions within the Traffic operation.
* Line manage the Traffic and Logistics team, inclusive of Traffic, Car Parks, Gates and Visitor Management.
* Respond to incidents as deployed by the Operations Centre in accordance with Traffic Operational Instructions and Incident and Emergency Plan.
* Identify risks and hazards and report immediately in line with procedures.
* Implement traffic procedures and access control in accordance with operational instructions, to ensure a safe and secure site.
* Ensure compliance with Fire and Safety regulations applicable to the Venue.
* Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures including regulation, legislation and compliance.
* Maintain a close liaison and good working relationship in particular with Event Managers, Security Event and Operations team.
* Develop and maintain a good working relationship with West Midlands Police.
To succeed in this role you will have:
* SIA Door Supervisors License.
* Must have proven experience at supervisor level.
* First aid at work qualification.
* Ideally a IOSH Managing Safely.
* Ideally 3 years’ experience in the Traffic exhibition and event industry.
* A thorough and meticulous attitude.
* A team player ability to share knowledge and information and work collaboratively at all levels across the organisation.
* An understanding of prioritising and organising own work to deliver to agreed deadlines.
* An understanding of how relationships between work processes and the business.
* A competence in your own area; may still be acquiring higher level skill.
* Driving licence is essential
* Right to work in the UK
