As an Accounts Assistant within our Reporting Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reporting across a range of Purchase to Pay measurables. Supporting both Internal Management and external customers, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail‑driven work, thrives in a fast‑paced finance environment, and takes pride in producing high‑quality reporting to tight deadlines.

What you’ll do day to day
* Prepare and deliver Purchase to Pay reports for Internal Management and external customers using Excel and Power BI
(including Creditors, POA, and Invoice Register reporting)
* Perform root cause analysis on key performance metrics to identify issues and improvement opportunities
* Analyse trends and provide insight, highlighting process and efficiency improvements
* Produce key reports during the month‑end period, working accurately to tight deadlines
* Create monthly customer reporting packs showing performance against a range of P2P measurables
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting data
* Use advanced Excel skills to manipulate, analyse, and present large data sets
* Communicate insights clearly and confidently, presenting data effectively to a range of stakeholders
* Build strong working relationships across Finance and the wider business to support effective reporting
* Communicate proactively regarding data gaps, inconsistencies, or reporting delays
* Support month‑end activities, including reconciliations, journals, and reporting as required
Helpful skills and qualifications

* Previous experience in a finance or payments‑related role (e.g. Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant, Banking)
* Strong numerical accuracy with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication skills with a customer‑focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
* Reliable, organised, and proactive, with a calm approach to handling urgent requests
* A positive, collaborative team player with a solution‑focused mindset
