Health and Social Care Lecturer (2 Positions Available)
Location: Kidderminster
Contract: Agency, Full acadmic year – Maternity Cover
Start Date: End of August 2026 (including a two-week handover period)
Salary: Up to £35 per hour (inclusive of statutory holiday pay)
The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of a Further Education College in Kidderminster for two Health and Social Care Lecturers to provide maternity cover for the 2026/27 academic year.
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Health and Social Care professionals to join a successful and supportive curriculum team, delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programmes. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on learners whilst working within a well-established FE environment.
The successful candidates will commence at the end of August 2026 and benefit from a two-week handover period to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

1 Part-Time Lecturer
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Health and Social Care qualifications across Further Education, T Level and Higher Education programmes.
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
Assess, monitor and record student achievement and progression.
Provide constructive feedback and academic support to learners.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development activities.
Participate in team meetings and departmental activities as required.
Essential Requirements
Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or a closely related subject.
Previous teaching, training or assessing experience within Further Education, Adult Education, Higher Education or a related setting.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of delivering T Level Health qualifications.
Knowledge and experience of Higher Education (HE) level delivery within Health and Social Care.
Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
Ability to engage, motivate and support learners across a range of levels and abilities.
Desirable Requirements
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
Experience delivering BTEC, NCFE, T Level or other vocational Health and Social Care qualifications.
Previous experience working within a Further Education College environment.
Safeguarding Requirements
The successful candidates must hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service, or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement of employment. All appointments will be subject to satisfactory safeguarding and compliance checks.
