This role is vital in ensuring smooth payroll processing across multiple UK entities, including international considerations, all while working closely with finance and HR teams. What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including pensions administration and benefits in kind (P11D)
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance requirements
Ability to reconcile payroll reports accurately and handle payroll-related inquiries
Proficiency with payroll software and systems
Excellent communication skills for liaising with HMRC and internal teams
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Experience:
Previous payroll officer or consultant roles, ideally within a similar-sized organization
Relevant certifications or training in payroll management or HRIS systems
At least 2-3 years of payroll processing experience in a matrix or multi-entity environmentOther Requirements:
Availability to start immediately and commit 2-3 days per week in the office
