About the role
* Vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing and repairs including MOT preps in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
* To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies
* To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
* Maintain and develop technical skills as required
* Work will cover all depots within the east, working 5 days on 2 days off shifts, with some overtime expected.
Shift pattern: 4 over 7, 2 weekends in 4
Early start - 05:30 - 15:15
Late start - 12:30 - 22:15
Hourly pay rate: £18.82 + £2,000 JOINING BONUS!!
About you
* A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1&2)
* A flexible approach to working hours
* An aptitude to develop others within the Engineering Team
* A PCV licence is desirable or a willingness to obtain a PCV licence is essential.
* Experience of working with coaches would be advantageous
