We are looking for a Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial records across a group of legal entities. The role focuses on maintaining accurate balance sheet information, supporting month‑end and year‑end processes, and ensuring all financial data is reliable, well‑controlled, and audit‑ready.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate balance sheet records and supporting schedules
* Complete reconciliations and investigate any differences
* Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
* Prepare journals and assist with financial statements
* Keep financial documentation organised and audit‑ready
* Provide clear financial explanations to colleagues
* Work with other finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Key Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
* Experience preparing reconciliations, journals, and financial reports
* High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
* Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
* Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
